Weekend in Ames..

This last weekend I mad a 24 hour trip to ames to visit with my brother Mitch, Jessica, and my ADORABLE nephews Maddox and Grady :) I love when it starts to get warmer out because I am able to visit more often! This weekend was soo much fun! Of course it started off with my showing off my beautiful ring but not long after I had gotten their Maddox woke up from his nap and was ready to go outside! (his favorite thing ;)) While Grady napped, Mitch battled with wasps, and Jess took photos for friends Maddox and I played some basketball. He is actually a great little ball player no matter if it's basketball or baseball, he is a little all-star in the making :)


After we went inside we watched a little of his favorite movie "Elmo's Potty Time", chit chatted about this and that, and waited for my cousin Lindsie and her boyfriend Matt to come over. They got their around 530 and we grilled out! Mmm porkchops! It was wonderful! Then of course we did more talking and getting to know Matt (he's a nice guy Lindsie, you guys seem great together :)).After they left we were all pretty tired, and tried to watch a movie but fell asleep! (ha! old fuddy duddy's we are)

The next day was sort of a lazy day and Mitch had to run off and do some college stuff..i left around three o'clock it was too short of a time but I enjoy ALL my time with my family!! And next week we all get together again :)
