I had a baby appointment on Wednesday, but I was back after only two days with a concern. About four days ago I began having sharp pains on and off through out the day (in the lower abdomen area)At first I just ignored them because with my veins and getting bigger I have odd pains on and off all the time, so at the appointment I didn't even think twice about saying anything to my Dr. But lastnight they were pretty intense after work and I told Chad about it and thought maybe I had a bladder infection. It went on all through the night and off and on through the morning, so when I went on break (from work) I made an appointment to go in and pee in a cup. ;)
Sure enough, I have bacteria that causes infections. My Dr said that usually they wouldn't treat the bacteria (he doesn't want to expose the baby to antibiotics if it's not necessary), but in my case with the "cramping" and other pains, he said that he wants to for sure treat it because he doesn't want to risk pre-term labor! (ME NIETHER) soo over all I am very glad that I was able to get in this week and get it checked out and everything will be fine with a little medication :) Good deal!
