Veins

Well as most of you know, I have been one of the lucky few to get varicose veins during pregnancy...I can tell you now I would NOT wish them upon anyone..yuck! I remember with Van I had them..and they would ache and mostly in the upper region it was bothersome but this pregnancy is on a whole nether level of Veins!

I am guessing but not positive that its the placement of the placenta (on my lower left) for why I have such awful veins on my left leg this time around. If I am on my feet for more then an hour or bend my leg too long I have a penching/exploding pressure in my leg..and lifting things makes it much worse but I have a two year old who needs me and a job that requires lots of lifting so I go on and smile:) Even though I sometimes want to scream or punch something haha but that wouldnt solve anything and just leave me with a hurt fist...lol

My Dr said the reason I can't get releif this time is they are in the deep veins..there are deep veins and superfiscial veins..if they are in the deep veins it causes slower blood movement, tenderness, and can cause blood clots...so he sent me to have an ultrasound on my legs and ordered me to wear support hoes every day...they really do help for a while :) so thats good!

Now I am going to gross you out and leave you with these sexy modeling legs of mine ;)

This bottom one is the one they are concerned about and it wraps all the way around under my leg and knee...gross i know...all I can say is PLEASE bring back my normal legs after pregnancy!! ;)
